Fast Facts and Fine Lines
What is Dysport?
Dysport is an injectable neuromodulator made from abobotulinumtoxinA, a purified form of botulinum toxin type A. To put it simply, Dysport works by temporarily relaxing specific facial muscles that cause those little lines that deepen when you smile, squint, or frown (AKA dynamic wrinkles).
Although it’s often compared to Botox, Dysport has unique characteristics that make it a favorite for treating larger areas, such as the forehead and glabellar lines. Dysport spreads slightly more than Botox, making it ideal for broader zones of correction.
In the Dysport vs. Botox conversation, both deliver amazing results. The right choice depends on your individual goals, muscle structure, and how quickly you want to see results.
